Arecibo Observatory Learning Center received American Institute of Architects Puerto Rico Chapter, Honorable Mention in 2002

Visitors Center was the result of wining an international design competition launched by Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, managers of the Observatory for the design of a new Visitors Center.
